My Approach

Working Together

With a foundation in Transactional Analysis, I use an integrative approach that may include: symbolism, narrative exploration, existential reflection, nature-based metaphors and rhythms.

Many of the coping strategies we developed earlier in life may now feel limiting, even though they once served an essential purpose and protected us. Together, we explore where these patterns came from, how they shaped you, and how you might create space for new ways of relating to yourself and the world.

I'm not here to "fix" you or tell you what to do. Therapy is a collaborative process, and my goal is to help you access your own wisdom and inspiration to guide your growth. A strong, trusting therapeutic relationship is key to meaningful change.

Supporting Your Healing

I value being able to support clients as they reconnect with their own sense of worth. Each session is an opportunity to sit alongside someone as they work through experiences that may have made it difficult to fully accept who they are. Supporting this kind of healing is something I care deeply about.

I bring sensitivity, steadiness, and warmth to this work, along with a sense of humour when it feels appropriate. I also have a deep appreciation for the natural world and often see personal change as something that unfolds gradually, much like the rhythms of nature itself.

What Therapy Can Involve

Therapy is not always an easy process. At times it can involve facing difficult emotions, memories, or long-standing patterns. However, within a supportive and respectful therapeutic relationship, these moments can also lead to greater understanding, relief, and meaningful change.

Therapy offers a safe and thoughtful space to explore parts of yourself that may have been overlooked or pushed aside, approaching them with curiosity rather than fear.

A Therapy Space Rooted in Nature

I'm deeply interested in how the places we inhabit — and the places that quietly inhabit us — shape: our memories, our emotional patterns, our stories, our sense of identity and belonging. We don't simply grow up in landscapes; we grow up with them.

In my work, I support clients in exploring the inner landscape of their lives — the seasons they've passed through, the environments that shaped them, and the stories they've carried or may now be ready to rewrite.

Transactional Analysis in a Nutshell

At the heart of Transactional Analysis is the belief that all people are OK, that everyone is equally important, and that each of us has a natural desire to grow and thrive. Because we all have the ability to think and make choices, we can take an active role in shaping the life we want to live. In TA, the process of change is collaborative — you are recognized as capable and responsible for your own growth.

Transactional Analysis is a type of psychotherapy focused on helping you understand and change patterns in your relationships that may be holding you back from feeling satisfied in life. In TA, any form of human interaction, whether spoken or unspoken, is called a transaction. People communicate from three "ego states": Parent, Adult, and Child — ways of thinking, feeling, and responding that shape how we relate to ourselves and others.

Many of our patterns and habits come from decisions we made in childhood. At the time, these decisions were often the safest choice, but as adults, they can limit our potential and get in the way of living fully. These early decisions form what TA calls your life script — an unconscious plan for how we live our lives. Through awareness and guided exploration, TA helps you recognize these patterns and make conscious choices, so you can move toward a life that feels more authentic, connected, and fulfilling.
